Hallo Almal

daar relevante spekers sal wees.

Ons wens almal ‘n geseënde Kerstyd toe, wees asb veilig waar
julle ook al gaan. Geniet die laaste nuusbrief van die jaar.

Hi Everybody

Most of our producers have either finished or is very close to
finishing the harvest. Yields have varied across the province due
to a very tough season. 2017 is however nearing its end and
hopefully there is an opportunity for us all to stretch out the legs
and take some much needed rest and relaxation. Thank you for
all the support, suggestions and remarks during the past year. We
are already working on some interesting events for the New Year.
The CAWC Jack Human week will again take place in August
and we are already sourcing relevant speakers.

We wish everyone a blessed Christmas, be safe and enjoy the last
newsletter of the 2017.

November 2017 - Issue 60

Hallo Almal

Hi Everybody

The past season has seen very low rainfall figures across the Western
Cape and it had a noticeable effect on grain production.
Although this was the case, driving through both the Swartland
and Southern Cape, one can see harvesters out and about. We
are keeping our thumbs crossed for everyone.

October 2017 - Issue 59

Hallo Almal

Hi Everybody

October has arrived and we are nearing harvesting season with mixed feelings. In certain areas of the Swartland so little rain has fallen this season that no wheat will be harvested and animals has been put on these fields. Luckily other areas have received a little more rain and harvest is still a reality.

Know that we are thinking of all of you.

September 2017 - Issue 58

Hallo Almal

Hi Everybody

The half of the month of September has gone past and the rainfall events are few and far between.  Parts of the Swartland and Southern Cape are really dry, while other parts look good. Rain at the end of August has brought some drastic changes in the Southern Cape and the Riversdale crop rotation trial has made a huge turn around. Good luck for the rest of the month, all our producers are in our thoughts.
We are currently busy loading all the talks of the 2016 and 2017 conferences onto our website
