Hallo Almal

Hi All

The planting season has passed for most of our producers, although a number of guys are replanting in the southern Cape due to rain damage/ the heavy rainfall event a week or two ago did some serious damage in places in the south Cape. Some camps will need serious attention to level and fill all the furrows. We trust that all your efforts will be successful. The Swartland winter had a more gentle start. We look forward to see what happens the rest of the season. We have also stuck our heads in the proverbial hornet’s nest by bidding to host the 9th World Congress on Conservation Agriculture in 2024. The CAWC, Western Cape Agriculture and Landbouweekblad compiled the bid and the video. The aim is to Cape Town as the host city. You can view the video by following the link on the links list in the newsletter. All the best!
