Voorwoord/Preface

Hallo almal,

Hello everyone,

It looks like the winter has finally arrived with rain falling in the Swartland. Varying amounts were recorded until now, but we are thankful for every little bit. In parts of the Southern Cape crops has already emerged and it makes one very happy to see the shades of brown changing to green.

We are two months away from presenting our 10th CAWC Jack Human Week and we hope to see all of you there. There will be something for everyone and the lectures and discussions promises to be very interesting. This year the practical day will take place on the Tygerhoek Research Farm near Riviersonderend. It is our aim to communicate as much practical information as possible and to facilitate fruitful discussions about the trials. The complete programme and information about tickets and bookings are available in this newsletter.

Best of luck with the planting season and see you in August!
